Frequently asked questions
Daytime use of the Swallow Pavilion can start as early as 8am on most days. Evening events can normally get started by 5pm. We ask for taxis to be arranged for no later than 10pm.
As an independent charity, the hire of the spaces provides a vital revenue stream. Charges start at £500 for the Swallow Pavilion for the day and £300 for a shorter 3-hour time window. We don’t currently hire the Pavilion on an hour-by-hour basis.
Team meetings, breakfast seminars, small weddings, family reunions, afternoon teas, evening drinks receptions, private dinners, yoga and wellness sessions, a naming ceremony, baby showers, wakes. We welcome you to ask about availability and what events might be suitable. Get in touch.
If you want to guarantee your event can go ahead on the upper level, we recommend hiring additional marquee covers. We can help with arranging this. If your party is for up to 100 people standing and the cafe is available, we can transfer your event downstairs.
